Hi, I'm the author of the Max Payne soundpatch that is circulating on the web, the aim of that was to keep Max Payne -an all time classic and a game I love- alive, by fixing the sound issues. But over time with computers getting ever faster some other issues came up too, so I compiled this set of fixes that should deal with the most common ones. Just installed Max Payne again after a few years of not touching it. Windows 7 64-bit, and the sound was really dodgy (not completely gone, but unplayably bad). | Max Payne Search for related No-CD & No-DVD Patch No-CD & No-DVD Patch troubleshooting: The most common problem getting a No-CD/No-DVD patch to work is ensuring that the No-CD/No-DVD patch matches you're game version, because the games exe is changed when a patch update is applied previous versions won't work. About three years ago I published a fix for Max Payne 1 that worked for awhile. Although the sound wasn't perfect, especially on my video, it worked.Well I. All Discussions. Windows 10 user, by the way. It still works, but it only fixes the sound issue. I made a 2020 fix that.
